Job opportunity at Mellor Ware

I have a really exciting job opportunity here at Mellor Ware HQ! You will be given the opportunity to gain practical experience in the running of a successful creative business. It is a part-time position, 1-2 days a week for an initial period of 3 months. You will be working in Sheffield. This role is unpaid work experience, however, I will be able to cover costs of local travel, lunch expenses and the occasional surprise. This Saturday, Mellor Ware was featured in the marvelous Telegraph Magazine, in a feature by the lovely David Nicholls. Now I know what you're thinking, and you shouldn't worry, I have not branched out into taxidermy light fittings of our lovely British wildlife (even if the grey squirrel is an American import), the china tea party sets are the only products from me on that page! I'm so excited to have been picked out and showcased in front of their readership of millions! wow!

Liberty London!

Now you may or may not know that in April I went to the Liberty "Best of British" open call for designers. The day was absolutely incredible, and following a 3 minute pitch to Michelle Alger, the head buyer for home and gifts at Liberty, they placed an order with me! I am now pleased to announce that my Mellor Ware is now in store in their 3rd floor dining room department, and I couldn't be happier! If you're ever in London, go in and take a peek!
