Mellor Ware Workshops

Following the success of our workshops at Christmas last year, we are pleased to announce we are organizing more for the queens jubilee as it is the perfect time for a tea party! We will be holding the workshops on the 2nd and the 4th of June, each date has 2 sessions, one at 11am the other at 5.30pm. All abilities and ages are welcome to the 11am sessions, but adults only to attend the 5.30  sessions for tipples and nibbles!  For the princely price of just £35, your day will start with a short drawing workshop to gather inspiration and get the creative juices flowing, you will then get 3 pieces of the finest bone china to decorate ( a mug, bowl and plate) with a selection of transfers and on-glaze paints. We will also be providing light snacks, refreshments and a studio tour of the processes that make Mellor Ware. Kitchen textiles photoshoot!

We are really excited to finally be able to show you the results of months of designing our new products, waiting for them to be manufactured (100% in the UK), and then taking some rather lovely photos! Our aprons and oven gloves will be available in Liberty in the next couple of weeks, and directly from us really soon! They are hand screen printed in Lincolnshire, sewn together with love and are completely machine washable! A perfect gift for the baker in your life!

Our 2nd birthday party!

We celebrated our second birthday party on Friday 13th in true Mellor Ware style! We Made several games such as Pin the tail on the fox, Feed the animal, N-Tropy (Backwards Jenga) and Twister! We decorated the room with beautiful bunting and balloons, the bunting is still up because it looks too good to take down! We were very lucky not to have to make our own birthday cake, Amy's cakes made us a fantastic one which looked and tasted amazing! Ghostly Tom's Travel blog!
